    About Oasis Christian Fellowship...

Oasis Christian Fellowship is an evangelical church situated in north west Hove. We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, Evangelical Alliance and the Sussex Gospel Partnership (SGP). We are a warm family-friendly and multi-national church that welcomes new friends and visitors.

We aim to make everyone welcome and encourage parents to bring their young children. We have an active Sunday School for all ages with a good number of junior aged children and teens, who have their own groups on Sunday morning. A crèche is also provided. Our teens group have an active social programme.

We meet for worship at 10.30 on Sunday mornings. On the fourth Sunday we hold an all age 'cafe-style' family service. On some Sundays we create space within the service for people to receive prayer, whether it is for healing or wholeness or for other circumstances in life where God's help is especially needed. Each Sunday we also give time to teaching from the Bible, which plays a central part in our life of faith.

Oasis works in close partnership with a number of other churches and Christian organisations in the city and beyond,

Sunday evenings we meet at Oasis  from 6.30 -7.30 p.m. for prayer and worship. Each Sunday we focus on different prayer issues. We also meet for prayer on the first Saturday morning of each month from 10.00-12.00 noon.

Home groups (Bible study groups) meet mid week, usually twice each month.

Various other activities run in the course of the week which are described in more details elswhere on the web site.

If you are a Christian and you are looking for a church in which to serve and use your gifts, why not come and talk to us. Come and join us and be part of our mission to Hangleton. You will be made very welcome.

If you are interested in learning more about Jesus, and what it means to become a Christian, please make contact.

    Trying us out...

Why not come and see! If you are not used to going to church, what can you expect? Firstly, you will get a warm welcome. No-one will put you on the spot however. So you can be comfortable knowing that you can come and take part as much or as little as you feel like. Our services are led by different people each week. We sing songs of worship, we pray and there is often time for people to share. Also, there is always a teaching slot (sermon), when the pastor teaches from the Bible, showing how it speaks to us today about our lives.

We have a reasonably spacious car park that includes two designated 'disabled' parking bays. The church is 'wheelchair friendly' with fairly easy access into the church building. We also have a modern 'disabled toilet' on the ground floor.

You can reach us by bus - taking the 5B, which stops very near the church. Portslade railway station is a 15 minute walk. If you would like to come and need further directions, please do not hesitate to call the office.

We look forward to seeing you!
